The Art Behind Every Pair of Glasses
Every pair of CLARISSA OLIVERIO ART TO WEAR glasses is born from a creative process that combines traditional Italian craftsmanship and contemporary design. Discover how I transform artistic vision into unique eyewear that are true wearable works of art.
Inspiration and Concept
Everything that becomes aesthetically beautiful and harmonious interests and inspires me. For the creation of my brand, I decided to start with accessories because I believe they can elevate a person's entire look.
Accessories occupy a small space and must also be functional for the wearer. They are very complex to create if you want something unique and special, yet stronger than the look itself.
A good pair of glasses or a bag, a beautiful pair of shoes, are definitely made to last longer and support the way a person presents themselves to the world in a more definitive way than a shirt or trousers.
Why Start with Sunglasses
We had the intuition that glasses will become the most important accessory of all in the coming years. When we introduce ourselves to someone, the first thing seen is our face, and only secondly shoes, bags, and clothing.
When I was 18, I understood how a pair of Gucci glasses with blue or yellow tinted lenses could make me very recognizable in a city (which at the time I considered big) like Milan. I grew up confronting the Milan of Fashion, that relentless city where you either feel special and express it through how you present yourself to others, or you disappear anonymously among thousands of faces.
How our shapes are born...
It all starts with inspiration. Each collection is born from an idea, an emotion, an artistic movement. I study shapes, colors, and textures to create designs that are not only functional but that immediately characterize a person's face and their vision.
My mission is to "make people experience being noticed and remembered" because let's face it, there's nothing more beautiful than being seen by others; connection is truly what we all ultimately seek.
I know how to do it, and I implement it through aesthetics with the creation of objects that are beautiful, harmonious, distinctive, and above all, long-lasting because they are well-made, conveying the importance of a luxurious, Italian object.
Glasses, bags, shoes, clothing - I have no preference, I want to make them all. I am not a glasses fanatic and I don't belong to the "eyewear world," but I belong to all those who have understood that the most impactful accessory is undoubtedly glasses and feel the need to follow their art. Material Selection
Quality is fundamental. I carefully select premium materials that guarantee durability, comfort, and style. From Italian cellulose acetate frames, every material is chosen for its unique characteristics and its ability to express my design. The design phase can last up to 3 months, but the resulting collection is made to last for many years. It is definitely worth it.
Artisanal Craftsmanship
From the selection to the treatment of the inserts, their insertion on the temples or fronts, everything is done manually. I personally oversee the process, putting my heart and intention into making that object capable of helping the wearer express their beauty and harmony. This artisanal process ensures that every pair is unique.
Quality Control
Before reaching you, every pair of glasses undergoes rigorous quality controls. We verify the perfect fit, the resistance of the materials, the precision of the lenses, and the quality of the finishes. I always remain available for their regeneration, as over time I have found that for wearers, including ourselves, a kind of emotional relationship with that accessory develops.

Each pair is carefully packaged, ready to become part of your personal collection. We don't just sell glasses, but wearable art pieces that express personality and style.
