1. How are Clarissa Oliverio glasses made?
Each pair of glasses is handcrafted in Italy, combining high-quality Italian acetate with exquisite materials. The Heritage collection uses silk velvet hand-woven on 19th-century Florentine looms, then hand-sewn into the seamless frames. Each piece requires hours of craftsmanship.
2. What does "Art to Wear" mean?
Art to Wear is our philosophy: transforming art into wearable objects. Each pair of glasses is born from the artistic inspiration of Clarissa Oliverio, a Como-based artist, who transforms brushstrokes and creative visions into unique accessories that celebrate individuality and personal expression.
3. How many pieces are produced for each model?
Our collections are limited editions. The Heritage collection is limited to 300 pieces per model and color, while the SUNGLASSES WOW! and ART TO WEAR WOW! collections are numbered editions, making each piece exclusive and collectible.
4. Are the glasses suitable for prescription lenses?
Yes! All our frames can be fitted with prescription lenses. We recommend seeing a licensed optician (see our Retailers page) for custom-fit lenses.
HÉRITAGE COLLECTION - VELVET
5. How do you clean velvet glasses?
The silk velvet of the Heritage collection is treated with durable permanent adhesives. For daily cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid direct water on the velvet. For acetate frames, use a slightly damp cloth. Store your glasses in the provided case when not in use.
6. Is velvet durable?
Absolutely. The velvet is woven using Renaissance techniques and treated to last for generations, just like historic fabrics preserved in museums. The craftsmanship and quality materials ensure exceptional longevity. Each pair comes with a 3-year warranty.
7. Is velvet water and sweat resistant?
The velvet is treated to withstand normal use, including humidity and sweat. However, we recommend avoiding immersion in water and gently wiping away any spills with a soft cloth.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
8. How long does shipping take?
We ship throughout Italy in 2-3 business days and within Europe in 3-5 business days. For international shipments, delivery times vary from 5 to 10 business days. You will receive a tracking number to monitor your order.
9. What is the return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt, as long as the glasses are in their original condition, unworn, and with all tags attached. Contact our customer service team at info@clarissaoliverio.com to initiate a return.
10. Can I change the model or color after purchase?
Yes, you can request an exchange within 14 days of receiving it. Contact us at info@clarissaoliverio.com and we'll guide you through the process. Shipping costs for exchanges are the customer's responsibility.
WARRANTY AND ASSISTANCE
11. What guarantee do you offer?
All our glasses include a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but does not cover damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.
12. What to do if my glasses get damaged?

13. Can I have my glasses repaired?
Yes, we offer repair service for all our models. Contact us for an estimate. Many of our authorized dealers (see Retailers page) also offer local service.

15. How to choose the right size?
Each model includes the measurements (lens width, bridge, temple) in the product description. If you have any questions, contact our customer service or visit an authorized retailer for a personalized fitting.
